Shipping policy

Most products offered on Offshoremarineparts.com (OMP) are shipped within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday (does not include weekend days or holidays). If for some reason a part is unavailable (out of stock, backordered, etc) we will contact the customer regarding the part that is unavailable. The rest of the order will be placed on hold until the part becomes available unless other arrangements have been made with the customer. We don't like unhappy customers, so for all shipping methods and destinations, if you need your order by a certain date, CALL US to ensure the ability to deliver within those needs.

Shipping Service Pickup Times:

United States Postal Service (USPS)

Picks up at our location around Noon EST (Monday - Friday (except USPS Holidays)). Therefore most orders placed with this option for "In Stock" products on OMP business days before 10:30am EST will be packaged and picked up the same day. Orders placed after this time will be packaged and picked up the following business day. Products showing any status other than "In Stock" will delay shipment. In addition, certain orders may require up to 24 to 48 hours before shipment.

United Parcel Service (UPS)

Picks up at our location toward the end of the business day (Monday - Friday (except UPS Holidays)). Most orders placed with this option for "In Stock" products on OMP business days before 12pm EST will be packaged and picked up the same business day. Orders placed after this time will be packaged and picked up the following business day. Products showing any status other than "In Stock" will delay shipment. However some orders may require 24 to 48 hours before shipment.

Domestic Shipping Options

For shipping destinations within the USA, we offer product shipping via United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). Upon entering our checkout page, your shipping options and prices will be shown. USPS Economy Shipping standard delivery time is 2-6 business days(Mon-Sat). USPS Priority Mail standard delivery time is 1-5 business days (Mon-Sat). UPS Ground standard delivery time is 1-7 business days (Mon-Fri). We also offer UPS 3 day select and UPS 2nd Day Air shipping to many destinations. If available, these options will display in your shipping options. If it is necessary to receive your package by a certain day, please call us so that we can ensure it will be there!

Time-in-Transit maps are provided for your convenience in determining the amount of time the package will take to be delivered once the order has been shipped. Additionally, located after each shipping option on the checkout page are the time-in-transit estimates within parenthesis (ie "2-3 days"). This amount of time is to be used as an estimate and is the approximated time to be delivered once the order has been picked up from our location. Order processing time is not included in these Time-in-Transit calculations! Please also note, the time-in-transit estimates are in business days of the shipping service provider! So if an order is placed during business hours on Thursday with "UPS Ground 2-3 days" selected, please don't expect to delivery on the weekend as UPS normal delivery doesn't occur on Saturdays or Sundays. Instead, this package would likely be delivered on Monday or Tuesday.

Faster shipping options are available for most products via UPS Next Day Air. This option is not available to all locations and is not shown in the list of shipping options and must be processed by us. Saturday delivery with UPS is also a possibility on Air shipments. For either of these services, give us a call for a quote and to order.

International Shipping Options

UPDATE 10/01/2022: While there are some delays in the USPS transit times, the parcels are finally being delivered reliably to most destinations. With this being said, we have decided to re-enable the United States Postal Service international shipping options as a more economical option. USPS is now utilizing GlobalPost for international parcel transport. Therefore packages must go to a centralized distribution hub before leaving the USA in transit to its final destination. This does generally add 3-5 extra days to the transit time. However, most parcel delays occur at the destination country's import authority. Our international customers may wish to check with their local postal authority to ensure there are no processing delays on incoming shipments before placing an order with us. Delays in transit do occur and we have no further information than that shown on the postal websites.

Shipping of our products is provided to many countries around the world. The most common and economical shipping service provided is via the United State Postal Service (USPS). This service has two main shipping options. They are Priority Mail International and Priority Express International. The Priority International option typically takes 12-24 business days for the package to be delivered. The second option for many destinations is Express International and this typically takes 5-12 business days for the package to be delivered.

Shipping estimates provided are typically accurate but may be effected by variables beyond our control. Once the package reaches the destination country, it must enter the customs or importation control department for your country. Based on the laws of the destination, the importation control authority may assess additional fees / taxes based upon the product information contained on the shipping label. We cannot estimate this cost as it varies from country to country. Please note..UPS also charges a brokerage fee for handling the import of your package. The amount of the brokerage fee depends on the destination country (contact UPS directly for additional brokerage information). The package recipient is responsible for paying brokerage, taxes and fees imposed, upon the delivery of the package. These costs are NOT included in the shipping cost shown and paid for on our site at checkout.

Please don't ask us to falsify package documentation to save on importation taxes/fees. This is fraud and we do not do business this way.

Free Shipping

Free Shipping is available to customers that have an order SUBTOTAL over $250 and for most orders under 20 pounds in weight. Free shipping is not available for heavy, oversize or hazardous items including but not limited to manifolds, risers, elbows, crankshafts, powerheads, gearcases/outdrives, driveshafts, flywheels, oils, cleaners, steering systems and cables, etc. Free shipping is available to the shipping destinations located within the continental United States ONLY. For the free shipping option we will choose the shipping method (UPS Ground, USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail, etc). This offer applies to new purchases only. This promotion does not apply to exchanges. Free shipping cannot be applied to previous purchases. We reserve the right to change or discontinue this free shipping promotion at any time.

Call Us for Quote

If you receive this shipping option, that means our system didn't like the information it received when attempting to quote a shipping price. This option is set to $0.00 cost but please do not process your order with this shipping option. Give us a call and we will be happy to quote the shipping cost for you and process your order. Any orders placed using this shipping option will NOT be shipped and will be cancelled.

Pick Up

We have a pick up option available to anyone that would like to pick up their parts in Sarasota, FL. If you are interested in picking up your order please contact us via phone or email, before placing your order so that arrangements can be made for the pickup. We are a parts distributor and therefore don't have any staff dedicated to customer pickups. Therefore please DO NOT plan on picking up parts unless you have contacted us first to arrange the pick up. Thanks for your understanding. Orders that need to be shipped but have selected the pick up parts option will be delayed until a payment for shipping has been received. Payments for orders using this option must be cash at pickup or advance payment with credit card. Per Paypal policy, we cannot accept a Paypal payment for local pickups.

Other Information

Refused shipments are subject to a minimum 15% handling charge in addition to original and return freight charges. If you decide you don't want the parts, contact us for an RMA, then return it to us. Unless the issue was due to a fault on our behalf, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Offshoremarineparts.com reserves the right to change the shipping method of any and all orders when and as necessary, with or without notice. (this isn't normal practice for us though)
