Terms and conditions of Purchase

 

Return Policy

Offshoremarineparts.com accepts returns and exchanges subject to the following return policy. 

 


Customers must request an authorization for all returns within 10 days of the original purchase invoice date.  Please Click Here to contact our Customer Support Department for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (“RMA”) and instructions.  Make sure to send in your email: Your name, Order number, item number of item for return and the reason for such return.  If all requested information is not sent the first time it will further delay your RMA.  Returns without an RMA will not be accepted.  RMAs are valid for 15 days, and the product(s) must be received by Offshoremarineparts.com before the RMA expires.  Shipping charges are not refundable, and the Customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs.  The Customer Support Department will determine whether shipping insurance is required.

 


When you purchase any product from Offshoremarineparts.com, you are entitled to the product’s manufacturer’s warranty against defective merchandise.  In order to efficiently process returns, customers may be referred directly to the manufacturer for some products.  For these products, instructions for contacting the manufacturer will be provided upon a request for an RMA.  The manufacturer will repair, return or replace the products in accordance with their own policies.  The Customer Support Department will provide specific information with respect to these products.

 


All non-defective return items are subject to a re-stocking fee of 20%.  Electrical parts are NOT RETURNABLE.  "Electrical Parts" include but are not limited to wiring harnesses, CDI Boxes/Power Packs, Coils, Stators, Regulators, Fuses, Relays, Switches, Etc.   Any parts that are used (installed) are not returnable.  We will thoroughly check each part that comes back to us for signs that the part was installed.  All returns must be in a resalable condition and include all accessories, paper work (instructions), original box and packaging (unless exchanging for the same item, in which case we will retain anything missing from your return shipment). 

 


Product returns or exchanges that do not conform to the above policy may be refused, pro-rated based on the completion of the return, and/or subject to delays in processing.

 


If you have a core that you are returning to us for a credit from a previous purchase please contact us for an RMA number.  Cores must be rebuildable, the same type unit, and returned in the box originally sent.  As soon as we receive and process your core return you will receive a credit.  Disassembled or incomplete cores will not receive credit.  The credit will be applied to the credit card used on the original purchase only.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability as to Products Sold

Except as expressly stated herein, Offshoremarineparts.com makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold, including but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability of Offshoremarineparts.com arising from any product sold by Offshoremarineparts.com shall be the price of the product ordered. In no event shall Offshoremarineparts.com, its directors, officers, employees or other representatives be held liable for special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to any product sold or its use.

 

Shipping

Most products offered on Offshoremarineparts.com are shipped within 24 hours Monday-Friday (does not include weekend days).  If for some reason a part is unavailable (out of stock, backordered, etc) we will contact the customer via email regarding the part that is unavailable.  The rest of the order will be processed as normal.  When the part becomes available, we will ship it as soon as possible.  If you would like us to not process the remaining order if any of the parts are unavailable, please insert that request in the comments during the checkout procedure or email us at Sales@offshoremarineparts.com after you place your order.

 


Two flat rate shipping options have been provided to lower the cost of the shipping service.  All rate prices include the cost of shipping, insurance (if applicable), packaging materials and handling & processing of each order.  With the "Ground or Parcel Post" shipping option we will use either UPS Ground, USPS Parcel Post or Priority Mail.  Generally, shipping for this option takes 3-5 business days to get to the delivery address.  With the "3 Day Select or Priority Mail" shipping option we will use UPS 3 day Select or USPS Priority Mail.  Generally, shipping for this option takes 2-3 business days to get to the delivery address.  Shipping times are from the time it leaves the shipping warehouse, not from the time the order is placed.  "All orders are usually shipped within 24 hours" applies to in stock items.  Orders placed on Friday may not be shipped until Monday.  If you would like a quote on other expedited shipping costs (2nd day air, next day air), fill out the contact us form with your address, your desired shipping, the item number of the part(s) for purchase, and a good daytime contact phone number and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.  We are not responsible for the shipping time it actually takes to deliver the package regardless of the selected shipping option.  Please keep in mind that shipping during busy times (holidays, etc) may take longer for you to receive your shipment than usual.  When your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking information (if applicable) so you can track your shipment.

 

 

Free Shipping is available to customers that have an order SUBTOTAL over $250.  Free shipping is not available for heavy, oversize or hazardous items including but not limited to manifolds, risers, elbows, crankshafts, powerheads, gearcases/outdrives, driveshafts, etc.  Free shipping is available to the shipping destinations located within the continental United States ONLY.  For the free shipping option we will choose the shipping method (UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail, etc).  This offer applies to new purchases only.  This promotion does not apply to exchanges.  Free shipping cannot be applied to previous purchases.  We reserve the right to change or discontinue this free shipping promotion at any time.


We do have a pick up option available to anyone that would like to pick up their parts in Sarasota, FL.  If you are interested in picking up your order please contact us at sales@offshoremarineparts.com before placing your order so that arrangements can be made and also not have to pay for shipping.  Orders that select the pick up option will only be available after 5pm unless other arrangements have been made.  Please email us at sales@offshoremarineparts.com to arrange for a time to pick up parts.  DO NOT plan on picking up parts unless you have contacted us first to arrange the pick up.  Thanks for your understanding.  Orders that need to be shipped but have selected the pick up parts option will be delayed until a payment for shipping has been received.

 


Refused shipments are subject to a minimum 15% handling charge in addition to freight charges.  If you decided that you don't want the part contact us for an RMA and return it to us.  Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

 


Offshoremarineparts.com reserves the right to change the shipping method when and as necessary, with or without notice.


Sales Tax

Offshoremarineparts.com will collect 6.5% sales tax for all orders to be picked up or delivered to addresses within the State of Florida.  Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state or country.

 

Applicable Law

In the event of any dispute about or involving this website or any transaction with Offshoremarineparts.com through this website or otherwise, you agree that the dispute will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to its conflict of law provisions and such dispute will be venued solely and exclusively in the state and federal courts of Florida, County of Manatee.
