This is the gear that sits on the crankshaft and turns the gear connected to the oil pump.
Do NOT attempt to press this gear onto the crankshaft. You will damage the gear! Instead, gently heat the gear with a propane torch until the gear will slide over the crank journal. Then allow the gear to cool.
