Return Policy

Offshore Marine takes pride in the products we offer and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.  In the event you are not completely satisfied with the product purchased from us, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return the unused and unopened merchandise within 30 days of the invoice date, for a refund.  Some products are not returnable or may be subject to a restocking fee but all returns are subject to the following return policy.

Defective - Warranty Returns

Defective products are handled on an individual item basis. The original purchaser is entitled to the product's original manufacturer's warranty policy in regards to defective merchandise.  In order to efficiently process warranty returns, customers may be referred directly to the manufacturer for some products. For these products, instructions for contacting the manufacturer will be provided upon a request for an RMA. The manufacturer will repair, return or replace the product in accordance with their own policies.

All other defective products (except electric fuel pumps) not serviced by the original manufacturer, must be returned to us for testing and/or inspection after the issuance of an RMA. If failure is the result of a mechanical defect, a replacement will be shipped out. All defective fuel pumps must be returned to us, within 30 days of receipt, for testing and inspection after the issuance of an RMA. These pumps will receive additional inspections for the possibility of water or debris intrusion and/or ethanol damage. If water, debris or ethanol damage are present or evidenced during the inspection, then the warranty will be void and a replacement unit will not be issued. If a product (returned as defective) is found to be in working order during testing, the item will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense and assessed a $25 bench test fee. This fee is charged to us by our vendors and is not negotiable.

For all items subject to a valid warranty claim, the sole remedy for a defective item is exchange for the same item. We cannot offer any refunds on defective items. Most defective exchanges are completed within 4 business days.

Non Defective Returns

Electrical products, ALL Tools and Cut-to-Order products are sold AS IS and are NOT RETURNABLE. "Electrical parts" include but are not limited to Wiring Harnesses, CDI Boxes/Power Packs, Coils, Stators, Sensors, Regulators, Fuses, Relays, Switches, Etc. We have had to discontinue the return of all tools and service manuals due to the fact that many were being used and returned. Therefore, tools and service manuals are no longer returnable as we are not a tool rental company. Cut-to-Order products including but are not limited to, bulk triplex and duplex wiring by the foot, fuel hose by the foot and oil line by the foot.

All other UNOPENED and UNUSED products, subject to return, must be in new and resaleable condition. These items will be accepted for a refund minus the original shipping expense.  Additionally, there will be a small restocking fee (usually 5-10% to cover the cost of the transaction) as long as the package is unopened. Gasket Kits, Seal Kits, Reed Packs and all Carburetor Kits that have been opened are NOT RETURNABLE! Sleeves, Piston Rings and all Bearings that have been opened and handled are NOT RETURNABLE.

Any products, with the exclusion of those listed above, that have been opened but not used can be returned but are subject to a restocking fee up to 30%.  Original packaging, manuals, accessories and anything else originally included with the product's packaging must be included for any refund.  Original shipping expenses are not refundable.

Used products are not returnable. If a product is returned with a valid RMA and found to be used, the product will be discarded or returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Special Ordered parts are not returnable.

All Returns

Non defective returns with valid RMAs must be received within 30 days of original invoice date to be considered for a refund.

If an order was placed with free shipping and an item within that order is to be returned, we will deduct the original shipping cost from the return value. The only exception to this is if the items kept still total more than the $250 value for free shipping.

Shipping costs for returns due to an error on our behalf, will be paid for by us. The shipping for all other returns, are at the customer's expense. Any return that is shipped COD or freight collect to us will be refused!

Product returns or exchanges that do not conform to the above policy may be refused, pro-rated based on the completion of the return, and/or subject to delays in processing.
